Hand Woven Hobo Bags 5 Colors Mayan Chiapas Mexico Folk Art Larrainzar Beach Bag

These wonderful Hobo bags are all hand woven by Tzotzil Mayan women of San Andres Larriainzar Chiapas Mexico.   These bags are woven on Back Strap Looms and the designs are not embroidered, but created while they are being woven, Brocade work.  These designs can be traced back hundreds of years to the Pre Columbian period of Mayan Civilization.   

These bags are very Versatile, they can be used as day to day handbags, Beach Bags or even shopping bags.  I love these bags so much I immediately purchased one for myself!  They are great examples of contemporary fashion trends such as;  Frida Kahlo, Santa Fe, Hippie, Boho, Peasant, Music Festival, Fiesta, Cowgirl Style.

Each bag varies slightly.

Purple Bag:  14 inches by 16 inches with a 30 inch strap

Red Bag:  15 inches by 16 inches with a 29 inch strap.   

Emerald Green:  14 inches by 15 1/2 inches with a 22 inch strap.  

Peach Bag:  15 inches by 16 inches with a 28 inch strap.  

Turquoise Bag:  15 inches by 15 1/2 inches with a 24 inch strap.
